Cyborg Citizen is not meant to be the last word on the political implications of cyborgism; it is the start of a conversation. In that spirit I have tried to make this web site as inclusive as possible. It not only goes deeply into the many influences from the thriving field of cyborgology on the book Cyborg Citizen, it also links to all of the major cyborg sites on the world wide web that Corey Grayson, my research assistant, and I have found. You can help by contacting me with your comments and your links. They will be gratefully utilized.

A Note on this Site's Organization

This web site is content driven. The vast majority of the pages are commentary on the sections of the book Cyborg Citizen. There is at least a page for each subsection of the chapters and the introduction, 48 in all, and there is an expanded version of the book's bibliography. All of these pages are directly accessible through the Table of Contents page or through the Master Map or through their respective chapter pages, listed in the menu below. These subsection pages have academic discussions, other sources including web links, and often illustrations. In many cases they link to full academic papers of mine. These papers can also be accesssed through the Papers page which is linked directly to the Table of Contents as well as the Master Map. The most important cyborg web pages that I discuss in the subsection pages are also listed on the Cyborgology page. Along with a link to my personal homepage and my publisher, Routledge, these are the offerings of the main navigation menu that is on your left.

Do write, and thank you for visiting. -- Chris Hables Gray
